Enjoy an exquisite Passion Fruit Custard

A rich sweet and sour mix, with all the creaminess of milk, ideal to accompany the Christmas and New Year festivities.

Ingredients

1 liter skimmed milk

10 medium passion fruits

300 gr. cornstarch

3 tablespoons panela powder

cinnamon sticks to taste

 

Preparation

* Dissolve the corn starch in a cup of milk.

*Heat 3 cups of milk with the 3 tablespoons of Panela. Add the dissolved starch along with the cinnamon splinters.

*Let thicken over low heat and stir continuously

*Meanwhile, blend 5 passion fruit, strain and add to the mixture.

*Stir continuously until it thickens with the creamy texture of the custard.

*Serve the custard in molds or containers.

*Then in a separate container, blend another 5 passion fruit, and heat until reduced and form a simple sauce.

*Add the sauce over the custard molds and serve.
