Volkswagen boosts renewable energy for electric vehicles
This initiative will provide a positive and environmentally friendly experience in homes, parking lots and public places.
‘Elli Group’ (Electric life) is the Volkswagen company that offers ‘renewable energy’ products and services without CO2 emissions.
The offer is available for both homes and public places. Among its novelties is “Volkswagen Naturstrom”, which offers the possibility of recharging electric vehicles with renewable sources and free of carbon dioxide.
“Green Energy” or “@home – home charging”, which consists of supplying energy for private homes, where the user can choose the rate to pay and type of recharge for their car.
The system at home “intelligent energy management and photovoltaic systems” that allows converting the electric vehicle into a source of energy storage for the home, as well as obtaining an economic income for it.
In addition, there is “@destination – charging at the destination”, to recharge electric cars at destinations such as company car parks, brand dealerships, public places or shopping centers.
The company is headquartered in Berlin and initially makes its products and services available to Volkswagen employees, partners and users in the European Union.
The purpose of this initiative is to provide a positive and friendly experience with the environment through electric vehicles that can have energy from renewable sources.
