WWF helps protect nature
The ‘World Wide Fund for Nature’ promotes initiatives to protect the environment, biological diversity, and the species conservation.
Its noble work aims to counteract ‘deforestation’ and carry out actions that minimize the impact of ‘climate change’, ‘degradation of ecosystems’ and ‘animals in danger of extinction’.
To carry out this purpose, through its website the entity invites people to join the ‘Panda WWF Community’.
There, the linked volunteers receive talks, seminars, events with experts and expeditions led by WWF.
In addition, they can sign or share their ‘environmental and wildlife conservation’ campaigns, as well as donate money as a contribution to their causes.
In Colombia
The current collections are intended to reduce ‘deforestation in the Amazon’, ‘conserve the jaguar’ through the camera trap monitoring program and create or maintain ‘protected areas’ in the country.
The signatures received are in support of various causes, including the most recent to protect the ‘hawksbill turtle’, encourage the ‘use of renewable energy’ in the region and collaborate with ‘the national movement for forests’.
Around the world
With respect to other countries, there are also a diversity of projects focused on caring for biodiversity.
The committed effort of WWF and the Panda Community is helping to save the planet and its natural wealth.
