The exclusive Ugly Betty series arrives on Prime Video in 2024

The outstanding production will star Ana Maria Orozco and Jorge Enrique Abello, star duo of the original Colombian series.

Scheduled for a 2024 release, it will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories around the world.

The emerging story will introduce the iconic Beatriz Pinzon Solano “Ugly Betty”, 20 years later.

On this occasion, she will continue to be married to Armando Mendoza, however, not everything in her life will be rosy because she will have the task of rebuilding her relationship with her teenage daughter Mila, as complicated as coping with the crisis of her family business

Faced with these and other situations, the empowered Betty will wonder if the path she chose 20 years ago has made her truly happy.

The production

The development and scripts of this dramatic comedy were in charge of Marta Betoldi, Juan Carlos Perez and Cesar Betancur with the participation of Valeria Gomez and Luis Carlos Avila.

The series was directed by Mauricio Cruz Fortunato and executive produced by Juan Pablo Posada and Yalile Giordanelli.

They were joined by Ana Maria Orozco and Jorge Enrique Abello as associated producers with production supervision by Andrés Posada and Ana Maria Londoño.
