Until next March 18th, the call is open in Caldas, Quindio and Risaralda to apply for this interesting scholarship.

Young people who wish to take action against the natural environment and the country’s biodiversity can apply to the residential conservation program.

An initiative promoted by the “United States Forest Service” (USFS) in alliance with the “United States Agency for International Development” (USAID).

Its purpose is to form social and environmental awareness in rural youth by strengthening their skills and knowledge as agents of change.

For this, the call provides a learning space with a full scholarship that includes education, food and lodging.

The closure is next March 18 and the schedule starts from April to December 2022 at the “Fundación Manuel Mejia” – Chinchina, Caldas.

Requirements

*”Be between 18 and 23 years old.

* Being single.

*Have an Academic Bachelor’s degree.

*Not be studying higher education.

*Reside in the Department of Caldas, Quindío or Risaralda.

*Have full-time availability during the 8 months of the program.

*Be able to live in the JPCC community, complying with the rules and discipline of the program.

*Be a nature lover, be willing to take walks, physical activity and field practices.

*Want to develop a vocation in natural resource management, conservation, protection and/or community leadership.

*Be vaccinated against COVID – 19 “.
