A story based on the real life of the popular Colombian singer-songwriter is full of deep, surprising and different emotions.
The artist experienced challenging tests, unexpected adversities and obstacles that were very difficult to overcome before achieving his great successes.
Through the new series, some of his most unknown dramas and tragedies are revealed, where music was the guiding path to release his sorrows.
His songs marked the history of generations, where he captured his suffering among pain, love and resilience as a way to empower himself and face different situations.
Dario Gomez ‘El Rey del Despecho’ in english ‘The King of Heartbreak’ is available on Prime Video, and now comes to the new App and the RCN Channel screen from Monday to Friday at 8:00 p.m.

Synopsis
“The story of Dario Gomez, singer and composer of popular music, known as ‘The King of Heartbreak’, is marked by tragedy.
At 17 years old, he unintentionally kills his own father and a witch condemns him to a life of suffering by ensuring that he will lose the people he loves most and that his destiny will be to die alone and forgotten.
With the weight of that curse on his back, Dario travels to Medellin, Colombia to start a new life and make his way in the world of music.
There, he fights to achieve his dream despite the adversities, the enemies he makes along the way, the death of his loved ones in the strangest circumstances and the pains of love.
<All these situations> become the fuel he needs to create a new musical genre and go down in eternity as the one and only ‘King of Heartbreak’.
