Ministries of Culture and ICT launch Territories On Air

Do not miss this call to enrich the programming and creation of content in community stations in the country.

The Directorate of Audiovisuals, Cinema, Interactive and Sound Media (DACMI), the Ministries of Culture and ICT come together to design and launch this initiative.

Through the “Radios for Life and Peace” project, this proposal “Territories On Air” emerges, which will deliver 2,921 million pesos to community radio stations in the country.

Its objective is to strengthen its programming grids through the creation of sound content that relates the regions and the diversity of their local contexts.

In addition, it proposes to include training, production and circulation of content in 127 community radio stations in the Pacific, Caribbean, Amazon, Andean Zone and Orinoquia.

  It is led by the Ministry of Culture and proposes three modules:

*The first referred to cultural management of community radio.

*The second about sound production, which emphasizes aspects such as fiction, radio journalism and exploration in various formats.

*The third refers to convergent narratives and content circulation.

Implementation

The training component is scheduled for 75 hours of work, in which it seeks to provide keys around these issues.

In addition, it aims to guide the design of series or content proposed by radio creators from community stations.

For this, it will have Virtual Learning Environments with the accompaniment of tutors and regional links.

Added to this, Ministry of ICT, will advise the creators of radio content in the process of research, production and sound editing.

In addition, it will provide resources for the development of communication pieces, which range between 18 and 30 million pesos for each series.

At the end of the process, it is projected to have 127 series circulating on community radio stations throughout the country.

This means more offer in the programming grids and more diversity of content for the audiences.

 

Requirements

*Community stations interested in participating in “Territories On Air” must build a production plan in accordance with the categories handled by the call.

*Hosting this plan on the registration platform on the Ministry of ICT website.

*In addition, the required administrative documents must be uploaded to this platform.

*You can only register until next August 4th at 12:00 noon.
