Maluma empowers the women with La Reina
With an inspiring message of equality, the paisa artist pays tribute to women to appreciate their true value and essence.
Honoring the magnificence of women and crowning them in style is the reflection that exalts his profound video and lyrics.
By evoking the natural beauty of the female gender regardless of age, sexuality, culture or physical condition, “La Reina” conveys the strength of her being.
In this regard, Maluma expresses:
«This beautiful song written in a music camp came to me out of the blue, because for a long time I wanted to pay tribute to women.
For me, the most important thing about this song was that the protagonist was not me, but that it really was them and all the women in the whole world who are going to feel identified”.
The song that is the second single from his upcoming album “Don Juan” was written by Maluma, Kevin Cruz Moreno, Edgar Barrera, Lenin Yorney Palacios and Luís Miguel Gomez Castaño.
The music video was filmed in Medellin, Colombia; under the direction of Juan Luis Londoño Arias (Maluma), Juan Felipe Zuleta and Cesar “Tes” Pimienta with the production of Royalty Films.
