Gloria Estefan inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame
The singer-songwriter of Cuban origin obtains this important recognition by entering the SHOF of the United States.
In an emotional ceremony at the Marriot Marquis Hotel in New York, this important tribute was made for her.
In this way, the singer-songwriter with more than 40 years of artistic career became the first Latin American artist to enter the SHOF (*acronym) Songwriters Hall of Fame.
That is, to the Hall of Fame for Composers in the United States of America, thanks to her outstanding work in the music industry.

Among her legacy, her time with the band “Miami Sound Machine” stands out, as well as great international musical successes that have marked several generations.
Led by her husband, producer Emilio Estefan, she has recently had around 29 songs on the top 100, of which 3 have been number one for several months, such as: “Anything for you”, “Don’t Wanna lose you” and “Coming out of the dark”.
Added to this, Gloria Estefan has been in the Hot Latin Songs Ranking with 30 of her most emblematic songs and boasts the sale of more than 100 million records worldwide.
A versatile, legendary and talented artist who crosses borders and continues to conquer the hearts of the public.

In this regard, in an interview for the media, Gloria Estefan commented:
“It still makes me very happy to write and it’s always a surprise when something comes along.
It is nice that it has happened so many times and that it is receiving such a great honor for me. As long as I have something to say, they’re going to listen to me.”

Her love for singing, composing and making art lives on as she continues to work and produce new music.
In addition, she is recently participating in the cinema as an actress in the new version of the film “Father of the bride” next to Actor Andy Garcia.
Gloria Estefan at 65 years old continues to prevail as a milestone in the history of Latin music after enchanting the world with her lyrics and her voice.
