Find out who the Oscar 2023 winners are

See the list of films, directors, actors, visual and sound effects among other award-winning categories this year.

The event that highlights the most select of the film industry announced the winners for its 95th version.

Among the expected winners of the night, Guillermo del Toro raised the statuette with his stop motion of “Pinocchio.”

Also, Brendan Fraser and Michelle Yeoh won the Oscar for Best Actor and Best Leading Actress.

As for Jamie Lee Curtis and Jonathan Ke Quan, they won the coveted award for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actor in the film “Everything everywhere at the same time”.

This film also won in the Best Screenplay, Best Editing, Best Direction and Best Picture category.

For its part, the film “All Quiet in the Western Front” stood out in various categories by winning the statuette for Best International Film, Best Production Design and Best Soundtrack.

In visual effects, “Avatar: the path of water” won the award for its meticulous audiovisual commitment.

 

Gala surprises

With a champagne-colored carpet, the most outstanding celebrities of world cinema gathered at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.

There the winners of the film academy awards were presented under the leadership of comedian Jimmy Kimmel.

He gave way to the different presenters by category, as well as disturbing performances that shone during the gala.

Among them, an emotional staging of the film “Naatu Naatu” (RRR), as well as outstanding shows by Lady Gaga, the Colombian singer and actress Sofia Carson, Rihanna and Lenny Kravitz.

*Best Makeup and Hairstyle: “The Whale” / Adrien Morot, Judy Chin and Anne Marie Bradley.

*Best Live Action or Live Action Short Film: “An Irish Goodbye” / Tom Berkeley and Ross White.
