Do not miss the V International Colombia Bird Fair

This initiative promotes conservation and sighting, for this reason it organizes this Fair to publicize the bird environment.

The greatest ‘diversity of birds in the world’ is concentrated in Colombia, a country rich in fauna, flora and natural ecosystem. More than 1,900 species move with their colorful wings through their territory, ready to be contemplated for their exotic image and majesty.

‘Colombia BirdFair’ seeks to promote their conservation and sighting, for this reason it organizes the International Colombia Bird Fair with the purpose of inviting fans and experts to see them, learn more about them and reconnect with their wild environment.

In addition, its purpose is to allocate the funds raised from the event to preserve ‘The Bangsias Nature Reserve’, for the perpetuity of the habitat of around 300 species of birds, some of them in danger of extinction and convert this space into a research site and environmental protection.

Among the invited speakers will be Miles McMullan, author of “Guia de Aves de Colombia”; Juan Pablo Culasso, winner of ‘Super Brains’ from ‘NatGeo’; Diego Calderon Franco, guide and founder of Colombia Birding; Steve Sanchez, Peruvian photographer and guide, as well as Fernando Ayerbe Quiñones, researcher at the ‘Wildlife Conservation Society’, among other leading experts.

The International Colombia Bird Fair will take place from February 13 to 17 in Cali, an ideal place, due to the confluence of the Andes and Choco, one of the most biodiverse spaces around the world.
