Adopt a Turtle for its conservation
By donating only 35,000 pesos to Natura Foundation, you support the initiative of the Caguama group to preserve this endangered species.
On the Pacific coast of Colombia, sea turtles in the gestation stage arrive to give birth to their little turtles.
Species such as Hawksbill, Pacific Green and Olive Ridley dig deep holes to deposit their eggs and cover them with sand. Then, after leaving their young, they return to the sea.
At that moment, the conservation group ‘Caguama’ is in charge of taking the eggs to a hatchery located in the September station of the Fundación Natura, to care for them while they hatch.
After protecting them from predators or hunters, after two consecutive months, the hatchlings hatch and are returned to the sea.
The purpose of the initiative is to preserve this endangered species.
To support their noble cause, 35,000 pesos can be donated to the ‘Natura Foundation’, in order to symbolically adopt a turtle, which will be cared for and protected by the ‘Caguama’ group.
