Rosalía shocks the world with Berghain
Deep, vibrant, and explosive emotions overflow in a masterful musical work that’s in Spotify’s global top 10.
A song composed from the depths of her soul presents the Spanish artist in an amalgamation of intense and vibrant sounds.
Through a distinct and sublime orchestral piece that constitutes the second movement of LUX, her upcoming album, the voice and video evoke a classic, versatile, and futuristic operatic journey.
Performed in three languages; German, English, and Spanish; along with the London Symphony Orchestra, Björk, and Yves Tumor, the track offers a gentle introspection with an enveloping power.
With an artistic, metaphorical, and cinematic style, full of symbolism, fashion, and mystical connotations, its narrative transcends with an intimate, reflective, and spiritual message.
About the music video
The video presents a woman in a process of grief while she struggles to heal her broken heart. In the end, she finds solace and healing through her spirituality.
It was produced in Canada, filmed in Warsaw, Poland, and directed by Nicolás Méndez, a Rosalía’s collaborator.
Album LUX
Rosalía was the executive producer, and the album was recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra, alongside Björk, Carminho, Estrella Morente, Silvia Perez Cruz, Yahritza, and Yves Tumor.
Its CD and vinyl editions include three exclusive tracks that invite listeners to experience the musical offering in its most immersive form.
LUX is available in stores from November 7th through Columbia Records.

She became the first Spanish-language artist nominated for a Grammy Award for Best New Artist.
In 2022, she released “Motomami,” an album she wrote, performed, recorded, and produced, which debuted at number 1 on Spotify’s global chart.
