May is the Mother’s Month

A time to share and highlight the dedication, sacrifice, tenderness, and example of those who have given light and life to create a new existence.

Although their commendable work and commitment to caring for their children is ongoing, there are different memorable dates that celebrate Mother’s Day in each country.

In Colombia, and around 50 other nations, they pay tribute to their dedication and unconditional love during May.

It is celebrated during this time, by decree of each state.

Also, because it alludes to the month of the Virgin Mary, mother of Jesus, who watched over her son until the end.

As well as because of her appearance in Fatima, Portugal, to the three shepherd children, Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta, on May 13th, 1917.

Furthermore, it is a prelude to Pentecost, a religious holiday that begins in June as a remembrance of the 50 days after Easter, in Jewish and Christian beliefs.

*May 14th

Samoa.

 

*May 15th

Paraguay.

 

*May 26th

Poland.

 

*May 27th

Bolivia.
