Juma brings pure inspiration with his song Alma

The emerging artist from Manizales, Colombia, presents an Afro-beat filled with sincere, unconditional love and deep feelings.

The immensity of emotions that beat in the heart overflows in a moving and profound song.

With inspired lyrics, Juma evokes the birth of his first daughter through “Alma” as a metaphor for true love.

The song, composed by the artist, was produced by him with “Chilo” and recorded in Medellin under the label La Montaña Inc.

The music video was filmed at the Hacienda Hotel Los Bucaros, in Barbosa, Antioquia, and is available on digital platforms.

A single with pure energy that vibrates.

 

Juma Interview

Juma also commented:

“When I was creating the first idea for the song (just guitar and vocals), I was holding my newborn daughter in my arms while I sang it.

She listened and started babbling. I hit “record,” and I put her voice in the song’s outro. It’s a moment I will always cherish.”

Also, “Regardless of the genre, I have wanted to represent a part of my essence through my lyrics.”

 

About Juma

Singer-songwriter from Manizales, Colombia, who has played the guitar since he was 9 years old. He started experimentally and, after practicing, learned to connect with the instrument as a part of him.

He also learned to play the bass, some percussion, and a little piano.

From his perspective and musical approach, Juma doesn’t want to be into a single genre, because he wants to bring versatility to his way of composing and performing a variety of genres.
