Dejota presents his new album D’Frutas

The Venezuelan singer and producer brings a fresh and alternative musical proposal to change the mood.

Versatility and an interesting fusion arrive with an explosive mix of emotions through an interesting sound bet called “Afroton”.

An album that seeks to transform common places into spaces full of art, music and flavor loaded with contagious rhythms to dance and sing.

Regarding this Dejota comments:

“Each letter has a story, but also each video connects with another and in the end, you end up immersed in a totally new universe for you, which simply invites you to be happy”.

His recent album includes songs such as ‘Kiwi’, ‘Maracuya’, ‘Mango’ and ‘Piña’, in addition, ‘Coco’ with Mackie, ‘Fresa’, ‘Melocoton’, ‘Frambuesa’ and ‘Uva’.

To which ‘Borojo’ joins together with the Cartagena artists Natan and Shander, to pay homage to the fruit of the Pacific with a vibrant experience.

A project with its own stamp where diversity, flavor and multi-culture show new ways of seeing the world.

About the video clip

It was made under the direction of the Barranquilla producer Tuennty in the retail store in Medellin, Colombia.

Its purpose, to pay homage to the people who work in this friendly space and show the beauty of their daily life.

In this sense, Dejota mentions:

“We accidentally found out about the local grocery market in Medellin and I fell in love with the place, it is so special and original.

Each person has a story to tell and, in the end, they give you a smile no matter the situation, and this tribute is for them.”

Initiative

Dejota decided to join the Farmers’ Markets campaign, promoted by the District Secretariat of Economic Development.

This collaboration seeks to encourage direct purchases from farmers who, with their effort and dedication, keep tables stocked with fresh, quality food.

In addition, it raises awareness about the importance of their work and highlights the value of local products.
