Toyota and JAXA will make moon car
The prototype is stipulated to be launched in the year 2029, with zero gasoline emissions. It could contribute to space exploration in the future.
The Japanese aerospace exploration agency and the automotive giant come together to develop ‘Moon Rover’, a vehicle that will work with fuel cell technologies and will be able to travel with a human crew to the moon.
According to Koichi Wakata, Vice President of ‘JAXA’, the Rover “will be an important element in supporting human lunar exploration, which is expected to take place in the 2030s.”
According to Shigeki Terashi, executive vice president of ‘Toyota’ as an engineer, “there is no greater joy than being able to participate in a lunar project through Toyota automobile manufacturing.”
The prototype is under development and the vehicle is expected to be launched in 2029, with zero gasoline emissions. A new alternative that could contribute to lunar exploration with the use of technologies.
